CYK Chalk Paint by Create Your Kraeft

CYK Chalk Paint is a versatile, smooth-finish decorative paint designed for furniture makeovers, home décor, DIY projects and creative art. Its easy application and beautiful matte/chalky finish make it ideal for both beginners and professional artists.

CYK Chalk Paint can be applied on a variety of surfaces, including:

• MDF & Wooden Surfaces
• Pine & Sheesham Wood
• Furniture & Cabinets
• Laminated MDF
• Previously Painted Surfaces
• Metal Surfaces
• Glass
• Ceramic & Terracotta
• Decorative Objects & Home Décor
• Craft Projects and DIY Upcycling

Tip: For very smooth, glossy or laminated surfaces, lightly sand the surface and clean it properly before painting for better adhesion.

How to Apply

1. Clean the surface thoroughly and make sure it is dry and dust-free.

2. Stir the Chalk Paint well before use.

3. Apply a thin, even coat using a synthetic brush or natural bristle brush.

4. Allow the first coat to dry completely.

5. Apply a second coat if additional coverage or a richer finish is required.

6. For a distressed or vintage look, lightly sand selected areas after the paint has dried.

7. For frequently used furniture or surfaces, protect the finished project with a suitable topcoat/sealer.

Drying Time

• Touch Dry: Approximately 30–60 minutes
• Recoat Time: Approximately 2–4 hours
• Full Cure: Allow approximately 5–7 days for the paint to fully harden.

Drying time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, surface type and thickness of the applied coat.

Brush Compatibility

CYK Chalk Paint works beautifully with both:

Synthetic Brushes: Ideal for a smoother, more controlled finish with minimal brush marks.

Natural Bristle Brushes: Excellent for creating texture, rustic effects, vintage finishes and decorative brush strokes.
